NC Design Studio is a Missoula based architecture firm specializing in services for residential and commercial clients. Formed in 2009, our office remains small and focused on compelling thoughtful design.

We have extensive construction experience, allowing an honest, straight-forward approach to every design project. We pride ourselves in being good listeners, which enables our clients to feel involved in the design process. We recognize that each project requires a collaborative team effort throughout the project.

Our process always begins with a thorough understanding of what our clients envision as well as understanding the value of any existing resource; whether it is an existing structure or piece of land.

Our vision is that every project should be unique and celebrate its distinctive characteristics, due to site and other specific influences. This starts with approaching each design with a fresh spirit and perspective, as well as an understanding of the projects surroundings.

NC Design Studio is setting the precedent for architecture in the Missoula and Flathead Valley areas. Our small firm allows us to provide a high standard of personalized and responsive service from the initial planning stage through completion of each project. Services typically consist of four main phases; Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction, allowing us to see the project through to completion.

NC Design has the ability to adapt to many different design styles and site requirements. We offer design packages that are complete, detailed and enhance the experience of daily life, work and play. We assist our clients to prioritize their design goals while ensuring a successful project. Through face to face design meetings, conceptual sketches, site visits, high-quality renderings, diagrams and illustrations the bones of each project take shape and the process is streamlined from design to construction.
